MEET THE TRAVELER. MARIA ULFSAK
Meet the Traveler is a series of short interviews where our good friends (and customers) talk about movies and travelling and stuff.
Here’s Maria, an outstanding film journalist.
Name: Maria Ulfsak
Occupation: Film journalist
Q: What actor would you want to play yourself in a biopic about you?
A: Üllar Saaremäe
Q: The movie with the best style?
A: Sunset Boulevard by Billy Wilder
Q: The movie that changed your life?
A: Magnolia by Paul Thomas Anderson
Q: Do you remember your first movie date?
A: I think I have never been on a date. And I usually go to the movies alone. But I remember my first visits to the cinema: the death of Bambi’s mother and the killing of King Kong. These experiences have made me quite untrustful towards society.
Q: Netflix or cinema?
A: When my grandpa was asked if he would like vodka or cognac, he said that both are good. As a film critic, I love the big screen but I also enjoy binge-watching the TV shows from the comfort of my couch.
